- Coconut wet = rain
- Coconut dry = not rain
- Shadow on the ground = sunny
- Can’t see the coconut = foggy
- Coconut swinging = windy
- Coconut jumping = earthquake
- Coconut gone = cyclone
The coconuts in Fiji are really important .. we use the tree to like a strainer to build the bure , the skin of the tree like a strainer ,the water like a drink , the fruit to eat , the flash to dress our food and if you want to know how is the weather just look at the coconut….
